In Annapolis, he co-sponsored bills to cut taxes for corporations and opposed a tax increase on millionaires like himself, all while voting to raise property taxes on Maryland homeowners. These issues raise doubts with 61% of swing voters and 75% of independent voters.
  • Barry Beauchamp is on the side of utility companies that keep increasing energy prices. He voted against legislation to reduce our utility bills, opposed legislation to protect consumers from the negative impacts of data centers, and voted to allow utility companies to charge higher prices to pay their executives’ bonuses. This raises doubts with 59% of swing voters.
  • Barry Beauchamp is a hardcore MAGA Republican who called Donald Trump the greatest president of all time. Beauchamp is an election denier who claimed Joe Biden did not win the 2020 election, and Beauchamp defended the rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. This raises doubts with 50% of swing voters.
