Learn more about Saba Haider

Saba Haider and her family immigrated to the United States almost 20 years ago, and she is dedicated to giving back to the community that helped her and her family make Illinois their home.

Saba currently serves as a DuPage County Board Member, is on the County’s Public Health Board, is a small business owner and is the director of the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation that serves over 26,000 students every year.

Now, Saba Haider is running to represent us in the Illinois State House (HD84) so that she can work with Gov. Pritzker and Democrats to put Illinois families first. She is endorsed by the Illinois Nurses Association and state and local leaders representing our community.

What will Saba Haider fight for as our state representative?

  • Protect immigrant families: As an immigrant herself, Saba Haider knows the sacrifices and challenges facing families who are looking to create a better life for their children. She will do everything possible to protect immigrant families and stop ICE’s cruel and inhumane treatment of our neighbors and coworkers.
  • Support mental health services for safer communities: Saba Haider knows the importance of mental health for the safety of our neighborhoods, especially our young people. As a DuPage Public Health Board Member, she helped make the Crisis Recovery Center a reality, a first of its kind facility in the country that provides mental health and addiction services to adults and youth.
  • Protect our environment: Saba Haider is focused on protecting our natural resources because residents’ quality of life and the community’s success are directly related to our environment. As our state representative, she will prioritize sustainable infrastructure and environmental restoration, ensuring clean water and air for all.
